At Accra Community School, some of the most powerful lessons happen far from the classroom. Every journey is a chance for our students to meet new cultures, speak up on a world stage, and come home more confident, curious and connected.
Our Model United Nations delegates have debated alongside students from across the world, winning Best Delegation in Izmir and the Outstanding Delegation Award at MUN Europe in Madrid, and taking part in the MUN conference at LAU in Lebanon, where our students also competed in robotics. Our dancers carried the colours of Ghana and Lebanon to the main stage of Expo 2023 Doha, and our students walked the streets of Paris, from the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre.
Our leaders and teachers travel too. They take part in international education exhibitions and conferences in the UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States, Qatar, Türkiye and France, and bring back new ideas, partnerships and practices to our classrooms.
Each student journey below has its own story, with photos and videos. Choose a country in the videos to relive the journey.
