Dear parents and guardians
A positive place to learn
Parents interested in enrolling their children are kindly requested to register them and keep us updated about any changes. Accra Community School was created to nurture knowledge in a very positive environment. We are a bilingual school, with Arabic and English as our main languages.
ACS is known for its highly professional staff, central location and open policy of accepting and respecting diversity. You are always welcome to drop in and see the school: join us to be a pioneer, make a difference and experience the power of learning.

How we welcome new students
Each application is reviewed as a whole, so we can get to know every child and make sure they will thrive with us.

Academic record
We review the student’s previous school reports and academic attainment for their age and grade.

Entrance exam
Students sit an entrance exam in the core subjects (Mathematics, English and Arabic). Kindergarten children have an age-appropriate interview instead.

Behaviour observation
Our team observes how the student behaves, interacts and engages, to make sure they will thrive in our learning environment.

We value parents who communicate professionally and respectfully, and who follow up closely on their child’s learning together with the school.
How to apply
Five simple steps

Book a visit
Make an appointment to learn more about ACS and its curriculum.

Collect the application
Collect the Student Registration Application from the school administration and gather the required documents.

Pay the registration fee
Complete the registration fee payment with the administration.
- 4
Interview or placement test
Your child meets our team for an interview or placement test.
- 5
Entrance assessment
An entrance exam in Mathematics, English and Arabic is held before registration is complete.
Required documents
What to bring
All students
- Completed Registration Form
- Student’s passport copy (including the residence permit page)
- Parents’ passport copies
- Official civil extract or birth certificate (the Lebanese civil registry extract is required for Lebanese students only)
- Two passport photographs
- Leaving / completion certificate and report cards from the previous school (current year and the two previous years)
Students coming from Lebanon
In addition to the above:
- Passing certificate showing the class the child has been promoted to, certified by the Lebanese Ministry of Education
- Certified copy of the Brevet certificate for 1st Secondary students
Students coming from outside Lebanon
In addition to the above:
- School certificate certified by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the High Court, as well as the embassy of the country where the student was enrolled
